GUIDELINES

This document sets out the Guidelines that apply to your use of any text, photograph, or video displayed on Salracing. We publish Original Content", "Curated Content", and "Official Content".

"Original Content" are any content posted by, curated by, or created by us (Salracing) our team members. Our "Curated Content" involves collaborative filtering to gather, filter and organize relevant information. Original Content and Curated Content may be shared within social media platforms as part of our sharing policy but only with our written consent.

"Official Content" is content posted by us, created by official parties we allowed to share from, including but not limited to Pirelli, Scuderia Ferrari, Mercedes, Renault, Scuderia Toro Rosso, Sahara Force India, Manor Racing, Williams Grand Prix Engineering, Sauber, and/or Red Bull Media House. Official Content may not be independently downloaded, copies, streamed or otherwise used without the express consent of each individual party.

When using Salracing you are expected to comply with these Guidelines, and we may, in addition to any other legal right or remedy, revoke your access to our social channels or website for any breach of these Guidelines.

1. Submitting content

1.1. You are welcome to submit content to be featured by us, by agreeing to comply with these Guidelines. You agree that your Content will not: be unlawful, infringe third party rights, be inappropriate or otherwise be objectionable by us, contain any viruses or other malicious, harmful or tracking code, contain any marketing or commercial promotions, suggest any endorsement by us or any Formula 1 party.

2. Use of content

2.1. You may only use Original Content and Curated Content as permitted by us. You may only view Official Content as published on Salracing.

2.2. You may not copy, download, or embed any Original Content or Curated Content without express written permission of us.

2.3. You may not use any Original Content or Curated Content for any commercial purposes.

2.4. You may not use any Official Content for any purpose without express written permission acquired independently with each party.

3. Complaints

3.1. If you believe any content does not follow our Guidelines or is otherwise objectionable please notify us are instructed in our Terms of Use.

 

TERMS OF USE

The following Terms of Use apply to all use as made available by Salracing. If you have any queries concerning these Terms of Use you may contact us at info@salracing.com.

Use of any part of Salracing, is also subject to our Privacy and Cookie Policy and Guidelines.

By using Salracing you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Guidelines. If you do not accept or understand these terms or any part of them, you should not use or access our sites.

1. Introduction

1.1. Salracing is owned and registered in El Salvador, with our registered office at Las Azaleas 26, Colonia Maquilishuat, San Salvador.

2. Mobile Data Usage

2.1. Please not that your use of Salracing requires an internet connection. We recommend you use a Wi-Fi service rather than mobile data connection if you have a limited mobile data plan, and we are not responsible for the use of your data plan and any additional costs you may incur.

3. Ownership of Salracing and Official Content.

3.1. Subject to the retained ownership of Content, all rights and any copyright, patents, know-how, trade and business names, trade marks and other intellectual property rights in Salracing belogs to us and/or our licensors. All rights are asserted and reserved, save for those granted under these Terms of Use. Salracing may contain licensed materials and our licensors may act to protect their interests in the event of any breach of these Terms of Use.

3.2. Subject to your compliance with all conditions of these Terms of Use, we grand you a non-exclusive, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to view the Content for your own private, personal and non-commercial use in accordance to permissions made available by us.

3.3. We retain and reserve all rights in Content posted in Salracing. You may not copy, modify or use any Content for any other purposes without our prior written consent.

4. Data Processing

4.1. Processing of Personal Data aims to provide different services throughout Salracing and our social accounts. By using Salracing you consent to the processing of data in order to be used for research and publishing for sending advertising promotions and market research.

5. Guidelines

5.1. The purpose of Salracing is to create a home for Formula 1 enthusiasts to enjoy an accessible and useful high quality selection of stories, photographs and videos. We want Salracing to become the place to visit on the internet, and as part of this we developed a set of guidelines that all users of Salracing must follow to ensure order.

5.2. Your Content and use of Salracing must therefore comply with the Guidelines which are incorporated by reference here.

5.3. Any breach by you of any part of the Guidelines will be a breach of these Terms of Use.

5.4. You agree we have no responsibility to review the contents of any Content before it is made available on Salracing. The views expressed in any Content are the views of the individual authors and not those of us unless expressly specified otherwise by us.

6. Links to third party websites

6.1. We make available links to third party websites through Salracing, provided for your information and convenience only. We are not responsible for the content of the linked website or app, and you are responsible for reviewing the linked website’s or app’s Terms of Use.

7. Necessary Requirements

7.1. Your access to or use of Salracing or certain features of it may require you to have third party accounts such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Apple or Google. You are required to comply with these Terms of Use which apply to any such account in order to use Salracing.

7.2. You may require an internet connection, which you must procure at your own expense.

7.3. By using Salracing you agree that these terms shall apply:

7.3.1. Acknowledgement: You and we acknowledge that these Terms of Use constitutes an agreement which is concluded between you and us only, and not with any third party affiliations.

7.3.2. Grant of License: Subject to, and in consideration of, your compliance with all conditions of these Terms of Use we grant you a non-exclusive, personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use content featured on Salracing as permitted by us, and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.3.3. Maintenance and Support: We are solely responsible for providing support and maintenance for our Salracing website.

7.3.4. Intellectual Property Rights: You acknowledge that in the event of a third party claim that your possession and use of Salracing infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, then we shall be solely responsible for the investigation and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

7.3.5 Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that: (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo, or that has been designated by the US Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (ii) you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

8. Copyright infringement & breach of Guidelines

8.1. In the event that you consider that any content infringes your intellectual property or other proprietary rights, please notify us by email to info@salracing.com setting out full details of the infringed rights or breach of the Guidelines.

8.2. When reporting any instances of copyright or other proprietary rights infringement, or other breach of the guidelines, please include the following information:

8.2.1. An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright protected content; a description of the copyrighted protected content that you believe has been infringed upon; a full description of where on Salracing the alleged infringing content can be found; your address and e-mail address so we may contact you.

9. Indemnity / Compensation to us

9.1. Without limiting our other legal rights and remedies, you agree to indemnify (compensate) us and keep us indemnified from and against all claims, damages, expenses, costs and liabilities (including legal fees) relating to or arising from your use of Salracing or arising from any breach or suspected breach of these Terms of Use by you or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11. Third Party Services

11.1. We may link to, incorporate or use third party software and services such as social networking or sharing features within Salracing. Use of any such software or service is subject to the terms of those third parties, and you agree to comply with any such third party Terms of Use when using Salracing.

12. Restrictions

12.1 Except for expressly agreed permissions with you, you may only use Salracing and displayed Content for your personal, private and non-commercial use and must not:

12.1.1. sell, distribute, reproduce, transfer, publicly display, translate, modify, adapt, create derivative works from, deconstruct, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, rent, lease, loan, sub-license or otherwise deal in copies or reproductions of Salracing, Original Content, Curated Content or Official Content of other users in any way except as expressly permitted by these Terms of Use;

12.1.2. remove, delete, obscure, disable, modify, add to or tamper with any program code or data, copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices and legends contained on or in Salracing;

13. Trade Mark

13.1. The "Salracing" word mark is a registered trade mark of ours, and all rights are reserved by us.

13.2. "Salracing" is an unregistered mark used by us, and all rights are reserved by us.

14. Agreement

14.1. These Terms of Use sets out the complete understanding and agreement between us and you in respect of its subject matter and may only be amended or waived in writing by us.

15. Changes to these Terms of Use

15.1. We may change these Terms of Use for any legal, regulatory or security reasons, or for any other reason we reasonably decide, including without limitation, where such change is required or encouraged by a third party service provider. We will notify you of any changes and you will be required to accept the changes to continue to use Salracing.

 

The following privacy and cookies policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets out how we use data relating to you and applies to all use of your personal information by Salracing.

3.1.1. Affiliated Service Providers: We have agreements with various affiliated service providers to facilitate the functioning of the Website, with whom we may share the information we have collected.

3.1.2. Where required by law: We may share the collected information where required by law, specifically in response to a demand from government authorities where such demand meets the legal requirements.

3.1.3. Statistical Analysis: We may share Non-Personal Information and aggregated information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. No Personal Information will be shared in this manner.

3.1.4. Transactions: In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition, or in any other situation where collected information may be disclosed or transferred as one of our business assets.

4.1. If you follow a link to any third party websites or services, please note that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for the collection, storage or use of personal data by those third parties, and you should check the applicable privacy policies before you submit any personal data to those websites or use these services.
